Enter CoolLED’s microscopy imaging competition (with a difference)
If you have access to a light microscope, you could be in with a chance to win a pE-300ultra Illumination System in our latest imaging competition. But it’s not all about stunning images – we’re looking for an ‘image in the image’! If you’ve seen a goblin in your gastrula, a horse in your histology or spotted something else entirely, submit your image you need is a light microscopy image containing another image.
The rules are simple. Images must be captured using light microscopy, and the closing date for submissions is 30th June 2021. Find out how to enter by visiting www.coolled.com/competition. Good luck!
The images above are just some of last year’s brilliant entries. From left to right, top to bottom: “Ghost” by Chet Closson, “Cheshire Cat” by Andrei Savitsky, “Eye of Sauron” by Alfonso Schmidt – the winner! “Smiley” by Kelly Hayes, “Slimer” by George Chennell, “Peacock Feathers” by Tim Self)
