Growth in LED illumination market drives CoolLED expansion

CoolLED has been going from strength to strength over the last few years. Following a recruitment drive to support steep demand increases in LED Illumination Systems for fluorescence microscopy, we have outgrown our Hampshire office. We have now settled into bigger and better premises along Andover’s aptly named Focus Way.

This success is a testament to the hard work and expertise of the growing CoolLED team, and also points to the increased awareness of the many benefits afforded by LED illumination systems, from experimental control to sustainability. Around the globe, microscopists are helping the environment by switching out their toxic mercury and metal halide bulbs for cleaner and greener LED illumination technology. Jim Beacher, MD of CoolLED, commented: “Our new office marks a new chapter in CoolLED’s history.
