Researchers at Purdue University (IN, USA) recently published research in ACS Nano, detailing the creation of a novel wearable patch for the improved, painless and minimally invasive treatment of skin cancer. Melanoma is an aggressive and recurrent form of skin cancer that is currently treated by therapies such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy. These therapies can result in high levels of toxicity and dangerous side effects from repeated treatments.
