Novel nanocarrier for targeted delivery of cancer chemotherapeutics
A nanocarrier for the more effective and safe delivery of anticancer drugs has been developed, which is more biocompatible, biodegradable and more economical than those currently available. The research team from New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD; Abu Dhabi, UAE) have reported that a novel pH-responsive hybrid nanoparticle could be loaded with multiple chemotherapeutics for the targeting of cancer cells in a paper recently published in Communications Biology.
