Marimélia Porcionatto is a Full Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the Paulista School of Medicine (EPM) at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp; Brazil) and Vice-Director of EPM-Unifesp. Her work focuses on the biofabrication of 3D systems for studying the central nervous system, with an emphasis on neurodegenerative diseases and neurodevelopment.
