How do neurons age?


Alessio Vagnoni (left) is a research group leader and lecturer in cellular neuroscience at King's College London (UK). He is also a principal investigator at the Multidisciplinary Institute of Ageing at the University of Coimbra (Portugal). His group studies intracellular dynamics in neurons and has started investigating this process in aging animals and animal models of neurodegeneration.
