Keith Murphy is a Professor of Neuropharmacology at the University College Dublin (Ireland). His research lab, called The Neurotherapeutics Research Group, focuses on understanding brain dysfunction at a molecular level, identifying novel drug targets for treatment of neuropsychiatric illnesses including schizophrenia, depression, anxiety and drug addiction, and trying to develop drugs to target those different disorders.
