Pediatrician and Professor of pediatric immunology

Petter Brodin is Garfield Weston Chair and Professor of pediatric immunology at Imperial College London and professor of Pediatric immunology at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. The Brodin lab (https://brodinlab.com/) develops and applies novel experimental and computational methods to describe human immune system variation with a particular interest in the immune system of children, its development early in life, and its role in health and disease during childhood.

 

Jessica Nordlund

Associate Professor

Science for Life Laboratory, Uppsala University (Sweden)

Jessica Nordlund holds a BSc in Biology from San Diego State University and a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Uppsala University. With over 15 years of expertise in -omics and sequencing, she serves as a director of the Swedish National Genomics Infrastructure at SciLifeLab and leads a research group at Uppsala University. Her research focuses on integrating high-throughput ex-vivo drug screens and -omics data with machine learning to pinpoint biomarkers for the refinement of molecular diagnosis and to investigate innovative approaches for the treatment of acute childhood leukemia.
